I haven't tried it with macadamia nuts, but that would be my second choice along with pine nuts. You can make a great raw vegan feta cheese using soaked mac nut with dried or fresh herbs, nutritional yeast (gives it a cheesy flavor), salt and a little water. I have a vid on that too under raw greek pizza. Lisa
