GREEN Smoothie- Papaya-Orange-Banana-Coconut Water-Spinach
I love green smoothies because it is such a great way to get your fruit and vegetables in one serving and it taste great!! I had some papaya left over from a tropical salsa i made the other day, so that was the base for this smoothie. Fresh coconut water can be found in Asian markets or Wholefoods or you can use cartons of coconut water. Spiach is a mild sweeter green that is less obvious in a smoothie, which makes it perfect for giving to your kids. Give this a try. It makes a delicious on the go breakfast or snack.
2 c Papaya, rough chop
1 each Banana, fresh or frozen
1 each Orange, rough chop
Water from 1 young Thai Coconut (about 11 ounces)
2 c Spinach
step 1- Strain the coconut water and add to the blender
step 2- Add all the fruit and puree for 1 minute
step 3- Add the spinach and blend for another 30 seconds
