GREEN Smoothie- Green Grape-Peach-Orange-Spinach
Smoothies are a wonderful way to start your morning because they are made with fresh fruit and give your body the right kind of sugar to get you going. Adding greens such as spinach gives you an extra boost of nutrients and vegetable serving without even knowing its there! I love the crisp juicy grapes with the sweet Peaches and the Orange in this green smoothie. Feel free to use coconut water or orange juice instead of water. Enjoy:)
1 each Orange
1 cup Green Grapes or Red Grapes
1 each Peach
1 cup Water or Juice or Coconut Water
2 cups Spinach
step 1- add all the fruit and water to a blender and puree until smooth

GREEN Smoothie- Papaya-Orange-Banana-Coconut Water-Spinach
I love green smoothies because it is such a great way to get your fruit and vegetables in one serving and it taste great!! I had some papaya left over from a tropical salsa i made the other day, so that was the base for this smoothie. Fresh coconut water can be found in Asian markets or Wholefoods or you can use cartons of coconut water. Spiach is a mild sweeter green that is less obvious in a smoothie, which makes it perfect for giving to your kids. Give this a try. It makes a delicious on the go breakfast or snack.
2 c Papaya, rough chop
1 each Banana, fresh or frozen
1 each Orange, rough chop
Water from 1 young Thai Coconut (about 11 ounces)
2 c Spinach
step 1- Strain the coconut water and add to the blender
step 2- Add all the fruit and puree for 1 minute
step 3- Add the spinach and blend for another 30 seconds

GREEN Jalapeno Peach Mango SMOOTHIE- Raw Food Recipe
Nobody likes to waste food, but sometimes you just don't know what to do with it. Well this smoothie is a perfect example. Yesterday i made a batch of jalapeno peach soup and didn't have a chance to enjoy it for dinner, so i thought why not turn it into a green smoothie for breakfast! This is the beautifull thing about eating raw fruts and vegetables, you can turn a soup into a drink and it doesn't sound gross. I added a fresh mango to the soup to add a little more sweetness to balance out the greens. Feel free to use whatever greens you want or coconut water or orange juice for the water. Perfect way to kick start your day. Enjoy!

Day 3- STRAWBERRY TOP SMOOTHIE- Very Budget Friendly
How many times have you eaten strawberries and throw away the tops? Most people do, but the tops are completely edible and full of nutrients. We had had a bunch of strawberries for a snack and put all the tops in a bowl in the fridge. They are perfect blended up in a smoothie and didn't really cost you anything! Here i mixed the tops with fresh banana and coconut water. It tasted Great!
